About Us
Navigating the Drainage Act can be challenging; we're here to lighten that load. We're a team of honest and positive professionals whose first priority is to your project.

The province of Ontario developed the Drainage Act to provide a process to solve drainage problems while recognizing that the solution requires the participation and input of the entire drainage community. The Drainage Act provides a mechanism to construct a new drainage solution on private and/or public property and includes further provisions for managing that drainage system into the future.

At Headway Engineering, we apply our specialized expertise in rural and urban hydrology to produce an economic solution to drainage problems, while continuing to improve our environment.

We recognize the needs of Municipalities and Landowners across Ontario. Drainage issues reduce the productivity and the safety of your lands and investments. Headway Engineering was created to improve and update the environment in which engineers work in under the Drainage Act in order to provide Municipalities and Landowners with efficient results.

Surveying
We provide complete topographical surveying services and data collection for all of our projects. Our surveying techniques and technologies are tailored to the setting.
Design
Headway Engineering produces quality drafting and design drawings using the latest tools and technology available to increase productivity.
Reporting
We provide complete and timely reporting, fashioned so that every stakeholder's needs are provided for, from the Engineer, to the Council Member, to the Landowner.
Contract Administration and Construction Supervision
Headway Engineering offers administrative functions for the Municipality during the construction phase of a project. We oversee the project's progress and document as-built information.
